The two biggest album releases of 2007 will be .. who will sell more?
50 Cent - curtis Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent has delayed the release of his third album a couple of times, but he's now named all of the songs that will be included on Curtis once it finally arrives. The follow-up to 2005's triple-platinum The Massacre and 2003's sextuple-platinum Get Rich Or Die Tryin' features 16 songs. But those who pre-order the album will also receive a bonus track called "Smile (I Am Leaving)." The LP features contributions from Justin Timberlake, Akon, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls. Dr. Dre, Timbaland and Eminem (who also contributed some lyrics) were among the producers who helped out. Curtis comes out on Sept. 11, the same day as Kanye West's Graduation, so we'll see who wins the first-week popularity contest between two of hip-hop's biggest stars. Here are the songs on Curtis: "Intro"
Kayne West's "Graduation" The Louis Vuitton Don is planning to re-emerge on the scene just as the summer comes to a close with his third album offering, Graduation. Though Yes camp has been extremely tight lipped about who will be in attendance at the Graduation, the CD is rumoured to feature Coldplays Chris Martin on the track Homecoming, as well as Late Registration collaborator Jon Brion. The first single to be taken from the album will be the DJ Toomp-assisted track Cant Tell Me Nothing. The producer/MCs third album will also include a song titled Stronger which has been built around a sample of Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger from the album Discovery by Daft Punk.
